The emergency card
An emergency card is what a doctor or a stranger sees when someone can't speak for themselves. It opens from a small scannable code — or a short code read aloud — with no app, login or passcode.

What the emergency card shows
Only the emergency card — never the person's other records.

How it works
- Build the card in Go Green: Health Vault. Blood group, medicines and conditions fill in from your reports; you add allergies and contacts.
- Turn on the code and carry it — set it as your lock-screen wallpaper, print the wallet card, or add an NFC sticker or band.
- In an emergency, whoever helps scans the code (or types it on this page) and sees the card straight away — no passcode needed.
Private by design
- Only the card is shared. The code opens the emergency card and nothing else in your vault.
- You choose what appears. Leave medicines, conditions or notes off the card if you prefer.
- You can switch it off. Make a new code any time and the old one — and any printed copy — stops working.
- It's your choice to be findable. The code exists so that whoever helps you, can.
