Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026
The health information you keep here — reports, prescriptions, scans, medications, and every value we extract from them — belongs to you and is visible only to you. You hold the key. We do not read it, share it, sell it, or use it for advertising. It is yours to view, export, and delete at any time.
What we store
Only what you upload and what we extract from it so the app can be useful to you:
- Your account details (email and a securely hashed password).
- The family profiles you create and their names.
- The documents you upload and the structured data extracted from them (lab values, medications, dates, facilities, and similar).
- Your settings and preferences.
Who can see it
Only you. Each account's data is isolated from every other account. Your family profiles live inside your account and are not visible to anyone else. We never sell your data, never share it with advertisers, and never use your medical information to train anything.
How your scans are handled
When you upload a report, it is read and turned into structured data. You control whether the original scan is kept:
- Keep scans (default): your original files are stored securely so you can view and download them later.
- Don't keep scans: in Settings → Scan storage & privacy you can turn off cloud storage. Then an upload is read, the data is saved, and the file itself is discarded — no copy of the scan is kept anywhere in the app.
AI processing
Reading your uploads and generating the optional health summaries is done with a third-party AI service. It is used solely to produce your results and insights, shown only to you — never to profile you, and never for any purpose other than the feature you asked for.
The AI provider we currently use is Google (Gemini), through its business API. Under that agreement, your data is processed only to return your results and is not used to train AI models. We may change the AI provider over time (for cost, quality, or reliability). Whichever provider we use, the promises above stay the same: your data is used only to serve you, is never sold or shared, and is not used to train models. This page always shows the provider in use today.
Medicine information & third-party sites
For medicines picked up from your prescriptions, the app offers two ways to learn more:
- Reference links (everyone): "Look it up" buttons open independent third-party medical sites (such as 1mg and Drugs.com) with the medicine name pre-filled. These sites are not operated by us — their content, accuracy, and availability are their own, and opening one is your choice. Only the medicine name is passed, and only when you tap.
- AI information card (Ultra-Premium): an on-demand, plain-language card (composition, class, common uses, side effects, precautions, and alternatives) generated by the same AI provider named above. Only the medicine nameis sent — never your identity, profile, or any part of your records — and the result is cached generically by medicine name and shared, so it contains no personal data.
Both are general information, not medical advice, and never a recommendation to start, stop, or switch a medicine. Always follow your doctor.
Security
- Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes — never in plain text.
- Sign-in is rate-limited, and irreversible actions (like clearing data) require re-entering your password.
- A privacy-preserving activity log records data-lifecycle events (like "cleared vault") with no medical content, so a lost record can be traced to a cause.
Your controls
- Export your full data any time (CSV / JSON), and print reports.
- Delete individual records, all of a profile's data, all stored documents, or all extracted values — from Settings.
- Opt out of cloud storage of scans, as above.
Data retention
Your data stays available as long as your account is active. If a trial or subscription ends, your existing profiles, uploads, and extracted data are retained for at least 90 days so you can renew without losing anything, and you can still view and export during that time. You can delete your data yourself at any point.
Changes
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
